Style icon. Influencer. New Yorker. The Woost is known across the world for his contribution towards mens styling. Considered by many to be a street demi-god, Wooster has carved out a well-curated signature look of mixing suits with coloured shoes.
“There are no absolutes. For every rule there is, it’s made to be broken and if you have style you can wear anything you want,” says Wooster.
Having worked for major brands across the globe such as Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Giltman and JC Penny, Wooster has certainly acquired knowledge in men’s’ fashion and the money to support his habit. But it takes a little bit of boldness to break the rules and Wooster definitely does this with elegance and a bit of an edge.
“The trick is to invest in some tailored pieces. I tend to stick with more neutral colours like navy, greys and blacks when it comes to suits. Once I have this sorted I then experiment with bold colours and patterns,” says Wooster.
Colourful brogue shoes have become a staple for the eternal Wooster style, mixing tan coloured shoes with neutral woolen textured suits. For something more adventurous, Wooster likes to show off a tattoo or two with lighter coloured pastel shorts and the shoes to match. Wooster even rocks orange suede shoes with camouflage colours and a tailored grey suit. What? Yeah we asked the same thing but when you see it put together you agree, it’s something you have to try at least once in your life!
